Sacramento Active On the Trade Market!

Image
The Sacramento Kings are out here making a statement that last season was not a fluke. The Kings are just a completely different team compared to what we have known for nearly two decades. So far this season, De'Aaron Fox and Domantis Sabonis are looking like early All-Stars. While the Kings do have their two All-Stars they may be out looking for a third one.            It was recently reported by Shams Charania that "the Sacramento Kings are expected to be active on trade market." Shams added by saying "they're going to be involved in every star player, Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, maybe Zach LaVine." Zach LaVine seems like a real possibility since it was recently announced that LaVine and the Bulls are mutually open to exploring a trade. So far, teams that are interested in LaVine are the Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Lakers. However in the NBA anything can happen, for example Donovan Mitchell ends up in Cleveland in the summer of

Monday Night On League Pass In Charlotte.

Image
The Boston Celtics are one of the best teams in the NBA and the Charlotte Hornets are one of the worst teams in the NBA. The way the game ended would be a big surprise to most NBA fans. The Boston Celtics are always in the conversation for championship contention and rightfully so. This offseason they acquired a bunch of deadly weapons such as Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Poringiz. The Celtics came into this game having won six straight.            The Charlotte Hornets are primarily running it back with the same roster and don't have much of a choice since Charlotte is not yet a hot spot for Free Agents. However they have the addition of their second overall pick Brandon Miller and brought back Miles Bridges after dealing with some legal issues. The way the season has gone so far for both of these teams are drastically different.            On the Celtics side they were without Al Horford and Derrick White meanwhile the Hornets were without Nick Richards and Terry Rozier. Kings Light the Beam From LA!

Image
The Sacramento Kings were the most surprising team last season but heading into this season teams are more prepared for them. The Kings have primarily ran it back with their roster but with a sprinkle of new additions like Chris Duarte, Sasha Vezenkov and JaVale McGee. The Kings just wrapped up a three-game homestead in which they won all three games. The Kings now begin a six-game road trip and their first stop is Los Angeles to take on the Lakers.            The Sacramento Kings had the best offensive rating in NBA history last season and against the Lakers they were on fire. Kevin Huerter, who has been struggling shooting from 3-point range, shot the lights out against the Lakers scoring 28 points shooting 10 for 16 from the field (63%) and 6 of 11 from 3-point range (55%). Domantis Sabonis was a presence in the paint scoring 29 points shooting 13 of 19 from the field (68%) and 1 for 1 from 3-point range (100%), 16 rebounds including 5 offensive rebounds, 7 assists, 3 stea

Chicago All-Star Guard On the Market?

Image
There is no secret that the Chicago Bulls are frustrated. In the summer of 2021 they brought in two All-Stars, Demar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic, and added Lonzo Ball. Those pieces along with Zach LaVine were flowing and were even number one in the East until the injury bug took a big bite. Last year on January, Lonzo Ball suffered a knee injury that has kept him sidelined to this day and the Bulls have not recovered in his absence.            Despite still having three All-Stars the Bulls just haven't been the same without Lonzo Ball. Last season the Bulls finished as the 10th seed and missed the playoffs. They did make the play-in tournament and beat the Raptors in the first game but lost to the Heat the next game that would've qualified them for the playoffs. This is obviously not what the Bulls expected after bringing in big pieces to compliment Zach LaVine and it may be time to move on.            After losing their very first game of the new season, against the O

The Rockets Take Off Against the Defending Champs!

Image
The Houston Rockets are not the same team they were these past few seasons. This past summer the Rockets went out to make upgrades by signing veteran players such as Fred VanVleet, Dillon Brooks, Jeff Green, Aaron Holiday and Jock Landale and bringing in a new voice by hiring Ime Udoka as the new head coach. The Rockets did lose their first three games of this new regular season but would quickly turn things around. Heading into the game against the Nuggets, the Rockets have won five straight and were facing a huge test in battling against the defending NBA champions.            While the Rockets have beaten a few impressive teams in their five game winning streak, there is no greater test than taking on the champs. This game went back and forth, primarily close and it all went down to the wire. The Rockets led down the stretch but the Nuggets would go on a 16-7 run to cut the Rockets lead to one point in the final seconds. However the Rockets would come out on top and their

Hornets Get Stung By the Knicks!

Image
All summer the Charlotte Hornets saw themselves as a team with young talent but enough to make some noise in the Eastern Conference. They re-signed Miles Bridges, PJ Washington and they re-signed Lamelo Ball to a maximum rookie extension which is a first in franchise history. The Hornets also had the number two overall pick in this year's NBA draft and used it on Brandon Miller. Things were actually looking promising for the Hornets but so far into the new season they have just been stuck in the bottom.            The Charlotte Hornets do have the seventh best offensive rating so far this season but they also have the third worst defensive rating and are dead last in three point percentage. Now the Hornets are missing a few rotation players such as Caleb Martin, Frank Ntilikina and Miles Bridges who has been serving a suspension. Bridges' suspension is almost complete, he will be able to return to play this Friday against the Milwaukee Bucks if no setbacks occur. In t

Prayers for Kelly Oubre Jr!

Image
It was recently reported by Adrian Wojnarowski that Philadelphia 76ers guard Kelly Oubre Jr. was a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle in Center City, Philadelphia and was hospitalized. Oubre Jr is expected to miss significant time due to his injuries, but those aren't considered season-ending. Local authorities are investigating the incident. According to Oubre Jr's spokesman, Oubre Jr was walking near his residence when struck by the motor vehicle.            Kelly Oubre Jr signed with the Sixers this past summer on a veteran minimum deal. However his production on the Sixers has been greater than his deal. Oubre Jr is averaging 16 points while shooting 50% from the field. He was even promoted into a starting role after the James Harden trade. The Sixers are currently number one in the Eastern Conference standings but losing Kelly Oubre Jr for a significant amount of time is a major lose for the Sixers.            It was recently reported by Shams Charania that Kel

Blazers' Big Man Out For the Rest of the Season!

Image
Robert Williams III is most notable for his interior defense and shot blocking. Despite being undersized Williams has shown incredible rim protection abilities. The past couple seasons he was the anchor of the Boston Celtics' defense despite Marcus Smart having won Defensive Player of the Year. After spending his first five seasons in the league in Boston, this past summer Robert Williams III was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers.            Robert Williams III was included in the deal that sent Jrue Holiday to Boston after being traded to Portland in the same deal that sent Damian Lillard to Milwaukee. Along with Williams, Malcolm Brogdon and two first-round picks were also sent to Portland. The veteran big man joins a young Blazers team that is starting over after Lillard's eleven year tenure. Unfortunately, after playing just six games, it was announced that Robert Williams III will be out for the remainder of the season.            While Williams is a very prom

The Houston Rockets Destroyed the Lake Show!

Image
Recently, the Houston Rockets have been on a roll on both the offensive and defensive end. It was going to take some games for the Rockets to find a rhythm given all the changes they made during the summer with their roster and coaching staff. Heading into this game, against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Rockets were on a three game winning streak and were looking to build on it. Meanwhile the Lakers have lost two straight to both Florida teams and were looking to bounce back.            The Lakers were without Anthony Davis who was feeling some pain in his hip during the game against the Miami Heat in which he barely played in the second half. Rui Hachimura had missed the last four games for the Lakers due to concussion protocols but was able to make his return against the Rockets. In this game the Lakers just could not find much offense out of anybody except LeBron James, D'Angelo Russell and Rui Hachimura. After a good game against the Miami Heat, Austin Reeves is having

Dillon Brooks is On Fire!

Image
Dillon Brooks made a name for himself last season but not in the best way. He was known for poking bears and sloppy offense. In the playoffs for the Memphis Grizzlies, Brooks averaged 11 points while shooting 31% from the field and 24% from 3. Last season Brooks was on the final year of his deal and after how things ended in the playoffs many NBA fans thought we will never see Brooks in the NBA again but after making Second-Team All Defense he was able to make his way back.            This past summer Brooks signed a 4-year, $86 Million deal with the Houston Rockets. The Rockets made it a priority to bring in veterans for the young guys. Along with Brooks the Rockets signed Fred VanVleet, Jeff Green, Aaron Holiday and Jock Landale. Another important fact to know is that Brooks' deal is fully-guaranteed. The reaction from the fans was that the Rockets overpaid, it was a mistake to sign him or more Dillon Brooks memes on the way.            In his preseason Rockets debut, B

Matt Ryan Shoots the Lights Out Against the Pistons!

Image
Matt Ryan has been quite the story these past couple seasons. Ryan played four years of college basketball and declared for the 2020 NBA draft. Ryan would not hear his name called and went undrafted but would sign an Exhibit 10 contract with the Denver Nuggets. Ryan would bounce around the league but he made a name for himself on the Los Angeles Lakers.            The Lakers are one of the most valuable franchises in all of sports and they took a chance on Ryan. He would sign a non-guaranteed deal with the Lakers. Before getting waived, Ryan played in twelve games for the Lakers and his most notable moment was against the New Orleans Pelicans. Lakers were down by three and needed a 3-point shot to send the game into overtime. Austin Reeves inbounded the ball, found Ryan in the corner and made a 3-point shot to send the game into overtime and he made it as regulation time expired. The Lakers would go to win the game in overtime.            As mentioned, after playing twelve ga

Grizzlies' Sign Free Agent Big Man.

Image
The Grizzlies are in a tough spot right now, having an 0-5 record. They are playing without Ja Morant due to suspension and he is still out for the next twenty games. The Grizzlies are also missing their starting big man Steven Adams who will be sidelined for the entire season. Adams had season-ending surgery on his right knee and has been dealing with this injury since January.            The Grizzlies are missing another big piece to their front court, Brandon Clarke. Clarke has been sidelined with a torn achilles tendon since March. It was announced on media day that there is no timetable present as to when Clarke may possibly return to the court. Memphis missing these three key players is affecting them and their record reflects on it. It was just recently announced that the Memphis Grizzlies signed a big man to help fill up the void.            The Memphis Grizzlies have signed Bismack Biyombo to a 1-year, $5 Million partially-guaranteed deal, with $1 Million guaranteed.

Lakers Snap 11-Game Losing Streak Against the Clippers!

Image
It is very obvious that between the two LA teams the Lakers are the primary LA team having won 17 NBA championships. The Clippers have only made it as far as the Western Conference Finals just once in their entire franchise history. Ever since the summer of 2019, when Anthony Davis joined forces with LeBron on the Lakers and the Clippers acquired Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, there has been this notion of "the battle of LA". While both teams have yet to face each other in the playoffs, during the regular season the Clippers have been dominant in the matchup, Clippers won eleven straight games against the Lakers.            The Clippers just made a big trade, acquiring James Harden and PJ Tucker. While Harden did not suit up to make his Clippers debut against the Lakers, PJ Tucker was able to play against the Lakers for the first time in a Clippers uniform. Of course there isn't much to recap on Tucker's debut since he isn't known to take shots but he di
