Grizzlies' Sign Free Agent Big Man.
The Grizzlies are missing another big piece to their front court, Brandon Clarke. Clarke has been sidelined with a torn achilles tendon since March. It was announced on media day that there is no timetable present as to when Clarke may possibly return to the court. Memphis missing these three key players is affecting them and their record reflects on it. It was just recently announced that the Memphis Grizzlies signed a big man to help fill up the void.
The Memphis Grizzlies have signed Bismack Biyombo to a 1-year, $5 Million partially-guaranteed deal, with $1 Million guaranteed. Last season Biyombo was on the Phoenix Suns where he played as the primary backup center and he provides great rim protection. Last season Biyomobo averaged 1.4 blocks per game, which will be great help with the absence of Adams. The Grizzlies have dug themselves in an early hole however it is not too late to get back up in the standings.
