Laker Guard Set to Return!

The Los Angeles Lakers just won the In-Season Tournament and have been on a roll without a key rotation player. This past summer the Lakers signed Gabe Vincent to a 3-year, $33 Million contract. Gabe spent the last couple seasons with the Miami Heat and while he was there he was able to make a name for himself. He became a success story as an undrafted player, he's well known for his defense and shooting. He was the Heat's starting Point Guard, in the place of veteran Kyle Lowry, throughout their entire playoff run last season where they made it all the way to the Finals as an eight seed.

The last time we saw Gabe Vincent play for the Lakers he has shown some offensive struggles especially from 3-point range. In fact, so far this season Gabe is just shooting 7% from 3-point range which is obviously terrible. While Gabe has been sidelined with a knee injury the Lakers have given Max Christie some runs and he's shown some reliability. The Lakers are currently 14-9 and are the fifth seed in the Western Conference.

It was recently reported by Shams Charania that Gabe Vincent is hopeful to make his return next Monday, the 18th, against the Knicks. Vincent hasn't played in over a month, last time he played was October 30th against the Orlando Magic. It will be interesting to see if Vincent just gets his regular minutes back, especially with the success they've found with Cam Reddish. After winning the In-Season Tournament, LeBron shouted out Gabe Vincent saying "we can't wait until he [Gabe Vincent] gets back."
