Suns All-Star Forward Expresses Frustration!

There were a lot of expectations for the Phoenix Suns this season. This past summer they acquired Bradley Beal, Grayson Allen and Jusuf Nurkic via trade, signed Eric Gordon, Drew Eubanks and Yuta Watanabe in free agency, and hired Frank Vogel as the new head coach. The Phoenix Suns were expected to be at the top of the Western Conference but in reality things have not been so smooth. Things have gone so bad that Kevin Durant has expressed his frustrations with the team.

The reasons for Durant's frustrations are because of Bradley Beal's lack of availability due to injuries and the supporting cast. Beal has been in and out of the lineup ever since the season started. Beal is currently sidelined again due to an ankle injury he suffered a couple weeks ago against the Knicks and he isn't close to returning. The supporting cast hasn't been as good neither as the Suns had hoped.

The Suns supporting cast consist of Eric Gordon, Grayson Allen, Yuta Watanabe, Drew Eubanks, Josh Okogie, etc. While on offense they have had their moments, their struggles fall on the defensive end. With the Suns' lack of assets given all the moves the made this past summer they have very little room to make any improvements to the roster. They really have to live with the results of their current roster and collectively pick themselves back up. The Suns are currently 14-15, the eleventh seed in the Western Conference.
