Bulls Guard Making Progress In Rehab!
January 14th, 2022 was the last time we saw Lonzo Ball play an NBA game. Ball suffered a knee injury that kept him sidelined for the rest of the 2021-22 season and the entire 2022-23 season. Lonzo Ball has had three surgeries on his knee but it's odd to see that he had still been experiencing pain. Before Ball went down the Chicago Bulls were looking like a championship contending team but since his absence the Bulls look horrible. Some recent and positive news has come to light in regard of Lonzo Ball and his knee.
Chicago Bulls head coach Billy Donovan announced that Lonzo Ball is no longer experiencing pain on his injured knee. The next plan for Ball and his rehab is to start running again in January. It is still looking like Lonzo Ball will miss the entire 2023-24 season. It has been months since there have been any updates in regard of Lonzo Ball but it is great to hear he will soon begin the next step in his rehab process.
The Chicago Bulls have been awful since Lonzo Ball's injury. The Bulls are currently 14-19, the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference. There is a lot of questions with where the Bulls go moving forward with DeMar DeRozan on the last year of his deal, Zach LaVine in trade rumors and just not being able to compete in the Eastern Conference. The Bulls may look a whole lot different by the time Lonzo Ball is ready to return. Lonzo Ball has one more year left on his deal, which is a player-option that he will likely opt into.
