Malik Beasly To the Rockets?

Malik Beasley was one of the best three-point shooters this season. He shot a career-high 41.3% from deep with the Milwaukee Bucks. While they got knocked out in the first-round of the playoffs, in the six games played, Beasley shot 44% from three-point range. He will gain lots of interest from multiple teams this summer as he will be a free agent, one being the Houston Rockets.

While the Rockets are in the Donovan Mitchell sweepstakes, it's been reported by Breaux, a team media member, that they have an interest in Beasley. They were the eighth-worst three-point shooting team in the entire league this season. Beasley is a player that can easily be plugged into any system, he can be a starter or come off the bench, and he is one of the best at catch-and-shooting. Even though they missed the playoffs, the Houston Rockets have shown tremendous improvements since the beginning of their rebuild in 2020.

One of the biggest attributes to the Rockets' success this season was the addition of veteran presence like Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks. If they can add Beasley to the roster then that would be another solid player with experience including in the postseason. The Rockets have other important things to worry about this offseason such as signing Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun to rookie contract extensions as they'll be eligible. Those two are likely to get paid massively as they've proven to be cornerstone pieces for the franchise.
